Originally performed by Frank Sinatra but many others have made their own version including Nat King Cole and Eric Clapton, I wanted to create my own version, so I left the adult contemporary feel to the orchestra but increased the BPM a bit, changed the key to E flat minor and ran the lead pretty close to the melody.
This slow, sexed up riff is translated through symphonic minor phrases, chorused by a dark, but seductive lead guitar indicative of Yngwie inspired Neo-Classical elocution.
I really wanted to push the boundaries of conventional style on this song. This song was about experimentation with the elements of symphonic composition to create something completely unique in comparison to my other songs.
